Historic Railroad
May through October go north to historic Chama to ride the narrow gauge Cumbres & Toltec Railroad.

Santuario de Chimayo and new mexican cuisine
Take a scenic ride down Hwy 76 or Hwy 503 & CR 98 to the Santuario de Chimayo. A pilgrimage of many because it is believed to have been built on sacred healing ground. While in the area visit the Chimayo Museum at Plaza del Cerro (1740). Don't miss Rancho de Chimayo for excellent New Mexican cuisine.

Poeh Center and Museum
The Poeh (the path taken in life) Center and Museum near by feature contemporary, historical & archaeological works of the eight tribes of the Tewa and Tiwa speaking pueblos. The adjacent visitors' center represents all the northern tribes with authentic pottery and jewelry.

Sculpture garden and glass art
Take the back road from Tesuque to Santa Fe for a visit to Shidoni Foundry. A surprising experience of eight acres of extraordinary sculpture gardens and works of art bathed in the high desert light in New Mexico. While there, Tesuque Glass Works will share the incredible possibilities of taking molten glass into works of art.

back to the 1700's
Just south of Santa Fe, you can go back in time to the 1700's along the El Camino Real, the Royal Road to Mexico City, to El Rancho de las Golondrinas, a living history museum that feature theme weekends and festivals.

Visiting New Mexico Wine Country is a must while here. More than 40 to choose from. Our closest neighbors are Ponderosa Winery, Sante Fe Vineyards, Los Luceros Winery, and Black Mesa Winery.

natural wonders
Not far to the south are the Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument near Cochiti Pueblo. Marvelous wonders of nature up to 90 feet tall.
